Ice Flats

Precision ice surfaces for controlled testing

Our ice flats are engineered to deliver highly repeatable and reliable test conditions. Standard surfaces range from 150–200 m in length and 40–60 m in width, with level, polished ice prepared to a coefficient of friction of 0.1 Mu or lower. Each flat incorporates a snow run-in and run-out area to ensure safety.

In addition to polished ice, alternative surfaces such as rough ice, sticky ice, and other customised variants are available on request. Widths and lane configurations can also be tailored, providing flexible solutions to meet specific test program requirements”
